Uncle Sam wants to help you control heating costs and so do we. For the remainder of 2010, you as homeowners who purchase a 75% efficient biomass(wood or pellet) stove, fireplace or insert can receive a U.S. Federal Tax Credit for 30% of their cost, up to $1500.
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 provides this tax credit and can be used toward the stove or fireplace, venting, hearth pad and installation cost. This is a huge incentive which helps your fuel dollars stay in the USA.
