Natural gas or propane(1) is piped into a sophisticated SIT gas valve(2) with variable turn-down rate from 43,000 to 16,000 BTU's/hr. The lower pressure gas then flows through a precisely engineered burner orifice(3) and into a mixing tube(4) where it's mixed with outside air(5) . The fuel/air mixture is adjusted one time when the appliance is installed, using the shutter control(6) , which helps to compensate for variations in altitude, fuel type and line pressure. This gas/air mixture flows through an unique array of burner ports(7) in the ceramic burner base(8) then ignites and burns. There are no visible tubes or grills to obstruct the view of the fire. At the Ember-Fyre burner heats to a deep read, 1200*F, it realistically mimics the look of glowing wood embers and charred logs. Dancing yellow flames(9) further enhance the look and feel of a real wood fire.
DISTINCTIVE FEATURES
The Fire These are the most realistic gas fires available. We simply build the best fire. The Ember-Fyre burner looks great when turned down to low. You can enjoy the flickering flames and glowing embers.
Easy to Operate The controls, which are concealed behind a lower door are easy to operate and access. All models feature a push button Piezo ignitor, adjustable heat control, and a varible speed for the powerful quiet fans.
Quality Construction The are the BEST built gas appliances money can buy.
Safety First
- The firebox pilot assembly utilizes a state-of-the-art thermophile and thermocouple to monitor the pilot flame and shut off gas flow in 30 seconds or less in the event of a loss of flame.
- The spring loaded retainer and the self-closing pressure relief doors are designed to dissipate pressure in the firebox should the pilot safety control feature ever foil and a delayed ignition occur.
Indoor Air Quality Direct Vent units bring in fresh outdoor air for combustion and vent the burnt flue gases to the outside. These appliances completely isolate the combustion process from the air in the home making it perfect for anyone with respiratory problems because of the superior air quality.
Complete Home Heating These efficient gas units are rated at up to 86% overall efficiency. |
